• Sophomore-level course; freshman can enroll with prior intructor approval

Course Description: 

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of Biology. Course material will include an overview of cells, genetics, reproduction, ecology, taxonomy, invertebrates, vertebrates along with disease and immunity. Biology is a hands-on, laboratory science. Laboratory excerises will include work with microscopes and specimens, both alive and perserved.
