This is my first year at Garden Plain, but I this will be my 7th year with Renwick. I am excited to be teaching Vo. Ag and being the FFA Sponsor for Garden Plain. I will be teaching 8th grade shop in Andale 1st hr, and then the rest of the day in Garden Plain starting with 8th grade Ag class, Agrisience, and Animal Science. I also will be teaching Plant and Soil Science and Ag Mechanics.
Before coming to Garden Plain I was at Andale for 6 years as the Industrial Arts teacher. Prior to that I was a cattle rancher and youth pastor, but I started my carrer with youth at Kingman High School as the Vo Ag teacher and FFA Sponsor.
I married my wife Jennifer in 2019. I have two girls, Amie is 23 living in Whicita and Addison is 12 in 7th grade at Cheney. We have 2 dogs, Dory a tiny Yorkypo house dog, and Scout a big goffy black Lab. I also still have horses a Buckskin “Cowboy” and a Zebra Dun named Buster.
My favorite thing to do is ride horses and rope. I really like to train horses, but I broke my back 21 years ago so I can’t do that as much as I would like to. I am still active with my families farm in Rago, I just say I am “on call”. We also have a boat that we like to go to Cheney Lake when we can.
