Senior Internships

Renwick School District offers students at both Andale and Garden Plain High School, an opportunity to participate in the College and Career Readiness Senior Internship. This course allows students to have the opportunity to explore their career pathway more in depth with hands on learning and observation. This internship will form a partnership between the school, student and the employer. The college and career advocates at both Andale and Garden Plain High School, along with the on-site mentor at the internship location will monitor and evaluate the student’s work and their progress throughout the semester.

This valuable work experience will enable our student to gain real world experiences in their chosen career field, enhance their hands on skills with the necessary tools in their career, work side by side with business professionals, instill a strong work ethic, and assist them in developing their soft skills which are critical in today’s job market.
